Chimpanzee That Monkey News

Guess what's way less awesome when it's covered in snow?
A lake. Which is exactly why we all need to go there, to make it awesome once again.

This is me in July of 2008, several pounds of baby weight and I'm dipping the boys into a cold body of water. Technically, the water currently covered with snow and ice but Jamie & I were hoping you could find some time to join us for an Ice Breakers party at the lake house at Twin Lakes, IA (near Rockwell City) on March 27, 2010.

Here's some deets:

Who: All Eagles, lady eaglets
What: Ice Breakers Bracket Buster Eagle Party
When: March 26-27, weekend
Where: Jamie's parents' lake house, Twin Lakes, IA. North of Rockwell City (Hwy 20), about 6 miles, just off of Hwy 4. Also located west of Fort Dodge, approximately 20 miles. South of Pocahontas, IA also 25 miles.
Why: Because we can, Because its been a long hibernation, Because its March Madness.

This place is a "cabin" of sorts. No phone, no internet. There is cable TV however, in several rooms. Access for video games and plenty of NCAA March Madness. I thought we could play tournament bracket games, and in general, have some ca-caaaws. Also, if there's any possibility of truly having a float in this parade thing, now would be a good time to start brain storming.

Jamie's parents just had new carpet and flooring put in the lake house. As a result, no dogs. They have an attached un-insulated, un-heated garage where a dog could stay during the day with some added heating source (space heater) and if necessary, a dog could come inside at night as long as it sleeps in a kennel (per Carol McLain).

Otherwise bring yourself, your ideas, a pillow, blanket, maybe some beer, and something to chow on. Oh, and an air mattress if you're a wuss.

I'm not sure of any of that, but I welcome some suggestions or help in organizing it. I don't know if we'd need to buy the $50 kit, couldn't we just make up our own?
Any excuse to dress up, these Eagles are into role playing.
