Out Door Living Room 09

Their are a number of eagle events that make us chuckle, and have their inside stories that stay with in eagle lore, but nothing seems to catch the imagination of of friends outside the club like the OUT DOOR LIVING ROOM. Many from in and around Cedar Rapids are amazed by this event, and I'm here to say that attendance at the outdoor living room should grow this year. Too many people with too many questions about this little event stacked full of potential.

And with the calender ticking over to May, It is time for the update of the outdoor living room. There have been changes made to the event and hopefully that will enhance the pleasure of all attending.

Set up for the living room will be taking place on the morning and afternoon of June 13th

First the dates: It starts Saturday June 13th with the ceremony lighting of the torches around 7:00 PM. We are working to see if Ross will come from Des Moines to play a couple of jams for us on that Saturday, as well as the retirement of the fighting Squirrels hat, after seven years of service a-top my head. It's time to say good-bye (I'm not saying it won't have a return a la Michael Jordan)
Saturday night will also see the start of Eagle Olympics first event. Laser Tag (new to this year's games.)

Sunday Will see a full slate of event for the Olympics, Ladder golf, Lawn Darts, the video game challenge, Horse, and the poker tournament. As well as a flight of the Concords marathon with Arrested Development following.

Monday will see the last four events to of Olympics, ping-pong, a rock paper scissors tournament, paper football competetion, and a whiffle ball home run derby. As well as the awards ceremony for the winners of the eagles olympics. The viewing choices for Monday have yet to be determined.

Tuesday, the last day of the living room , will see Cham and eggs in the morning, and a little flag football practice. as well the winners of the Olmpics getting the chance to start bragging about thier glory.

Scottie will be defending the Eagle Olympic belt and Kyle will be trying to make amends for his horrid showing last year. Also I would love a standing clock this year for the living room (Grand father clock would be the coolest) remember you don't have to be an eagle to complete in the events.

So come one and come all, but please take your shoes off before entering the living room.
