Happy little trees

The Flying Eagles put another weekend in the books. First Friday nights party bus and Flying Eagles first ever charity outreach program. Some pretty famous people found their way to the B-day bash; including Bob Ross, Sherlock Holmes, Jason Giambi, Michael Phelps, and Uncle Eddie. Good times were had bad all.

Saturday saw the eagles travel south to play some basketball. The first half was the eagles trying to figure out how to involve a real live post player in Jim Strand. Game one was filled with controversy with a ref whipping off two eagle points to start the second half that would have tied the game. The eagles fought valiantly and rallied in the second half to take a one point lead on a Three by The hipster. The eagles found them self down two with seconds remaining. The eagles missed a three at the buzzer and found themselves with a lost but steaming by the fact two points were unfairly wiped off the board.

game two saw the Eagles pitted against the defending champs of the Iowa games. it was a title fight with the eagles stunning the champ by taking a quick lead. Jim and Jim came to play. the champs jabbed back taking a seven point half time lead. The two team traded punches as the lead stayed at 5 to 7 for most of the second half. Then one eagle began to fly a little higher than every one else. Marcus woke up from his nap(that joke will never get old) and dragged the eagle back into the game with a couple of threes. Wildman followed suit with a three or two of his own. The eagles were up one. The champs again fought back and took a three point lead and fouls on the way out let the Champs take out the eagles.

The final game was forfeited by the other team meaning the eagles got a free win. and after further review of game one it was ruled that there should have been an over time. with out an overtime the game will go down in the history books for the eagles as a tie. The eagles finding a way to go 1-1-1 in basketball. So now the eagles are 3-2-1 on the basketball court and 4-5-1 overall n the Athletic department.

As always a successful weekend for the Eagles and until next time reminding everyone

That's what she said.

other notable events include the largest Eagles fan support of our athletic existence, an "age pool" for a waitress (john won, if you arent sure, just ask him...he will tell ya), Big Bear making it through the Genghis Grill line twice (and having a look of seriousness in his eye when he said he was considering round 3), and the return of the note (taped to a sleeping KyleBuddy letting him know we went to eat)

I don't know why you think a 3rd round at the Ghengis Grill is a big deal for Zach. Tonight for dinner he ate 8 pancakes, 8 sausages and 6 scrambled eggs with ham (cham and eggs). This is just the average night's dinner. One time on the way home from the HuHot he ate so much we had to pull over to the side of the road so he could crap. This is just our everyday realty. Well I blame Minnesota for sucking the fun right outta the room. Did someone leave a window open in this state?

JP, for $125 I can get you a ticket to the Wolves v. Lakers game next Sunday. Did I mention their courtside? Includes valet parking, dinner and free beer/wine/soda delivery to your seat. Actually its a BYGO deal. Buy a pair of tix for the Pacers game on Friday for $250, get Lakers tix for free. $500, 4 tickets to 2 games - courtside. I'm just saying...
