Round Two

Funny thing happened in round one of the playoffs, The east got real interesting as the two juggernuats fell short of expectations, while the west went as is, with no one really being tested.

Before we head to round two let's take a look at the future of cast offs

the Hawks thanks for making things interesting, and your futre seems bright. (BY the way Braden has already called the rights to be the Flying Eagle rep for the Hawks band wagon)

the Sixers Blew it, they shoulh have won this series winning on your home court in the second half of game four but with that said, they are a good team, growing up and Thad is only 19.

the Raptors, have the makings of a playoff east team for the next three or four years but not a threat to do anything series damage. Sports guy said the neeed to hire Mike D'antoni from the Suns. I agree this would give them a chance to be a title contender. Plus Bosh has no chance of being better than Dwight anytime soon.

the Wizards, another team like the Raptors. A play off team with no real threat to ever win the conference. I think they would be better off without Gilbert next year and let Caron be the guy. What's the saying don't tug on superman's cape and don't piss into the win. THe wizards did both against Lebron.

The Nuggets, it's not going to work with this group. Trade Melo and if I was Melo I would demand to be traded to the East becuase the west is only getting better. Too many me first guys on this squad

The Mavs. Good move in dumping Avery is act grew tired, But major changes needed. I say blow it up and start over. It was a good run but you are no longer a title threat and might slip out of the play caliber team with the Kings, and Trail Blazers getting better.

The Suns. they might have one more run in them, but I think the slipped into a solid playoff team not a contender. They will get the 15th pick in the draft maybe that can bump them up. If Diaw grows into the beast he was the last two games of the year maybe the can transfer from Nash's team to Amare and Diaws team.

The Rockets What to make of this team, they win 22 in a row, then lose inthe first round of the playoffs. Once again it's injuries, Yao, Alston, and Mcgrady all missed time. You would like to see a healhty squad one year but I don't think that is going to happen.

Round two Routing hard for Orlando even through there down 2 games to 0. I really Like this Dwight Howard guy a lot more than the seems to be snobby pistons's team. If you didn't see the hoem court advantage last night check out how the clock didn;t get turned on for the last 4.6 seconds of a quarter. Very sneaky scoreboard manager.
I have no interest in the Jazz Lakers Series because I dislike both teams. There isn't even a band wagon team I want to see win. If you pushed me hard enough I would say "go lakers" muffled through sealed lips. (unless you can garuntee Lebron vs Kobe finals)
Go Hornets, Chris Paul is making little kids all over the country want to pass like him and he's doing it against the Spurs. I love any body leading the charge of cool, young, great point guards.
Big ups to David West, I had no clue he turned himself into star.
Go Cavs. I know it would be cool to see Celtics vs Lakers in the finals, I know it would great to relive those glory days. But I want to see more Lebron, I want to see him dismantle teams with his will, I want to see his team believe more and more after every game. If you have been watching the games, It looks a lot like last year, not a great team, but a bunch of guys starting to believe their great. Cavs in six and rematch with Detroit looms for Kings James and his court.

John Paul fulling admitting I'm playing the homer card right now I don't care.
