Who's number one
Our main man Kyle thinks he's number one. Kylebuddy, the mule, and I recently took a Sunday drive to Minnesota to watch the Twins play the Cleveland Indians. It was a great game going into extra innings with the twins winning. Figures I drive four hours to watch a Cleveland team lose. I apologize for not getting an NBA playoff blog out before the playoffs actually started but you know how it goes with us Eagles, sometimes we get lazy.
Regular Season Awards
My MVP choice for the year-- Kobe Bryant
My Defensive Player of the year Kevin Garnett
My Sixth man Mano
My most improve Jose Calderon of the Raptors
Rookie of the year Kevin Durant.
Round one Picks
Boston vs Atlanta, Boston in three nothing else to be said
Detroit vs Philly, Detroit in Six, but it losing game one says something about Detroit and it doesn't say a good thing
Orland vs Toronto Orlando in six. 25 points 22 rebounds, and 5 blocks Dwight Howard the most impressive performance of the playoffs.
Cleveland vs.Washington I would have said Cavs in 7 but Washington had to go and run their mouths Cleveland in 5, no way a challenged Lebron loses a series to the Wizards. (Just a hunch but I think Lebron goes for 60 one game during his playoff run)
Los Angles vs Denver Lakers in 6, by the way I think every series but one will go six games in the west
New Orleans vs Dallas New Orleans in 7, Then Dallas needs to fire Avery Johnson and some team in the East needs to Hire him say the Knicks (I can dream can't I)
San Antonie vs. Phoenix Phoenix in seven, these two teams are so close in talent, and ability level it's scary I fully expect six more games like game one
Utah vs Houston Utah in five, i like this Utah's team chances to go all the way to the Finals.
Short but oh so sweet because I love the NBA and it's playoff time.
Congrats to Matt Cummingham on becoming an Eagle, he is now the third Eagle to not only maraud but now fly. RIP Marycrest.

You can youtube Larry Johnson's four point play againtst the Pacers in the 98-99 playoffs. I just spent the last ten minutes reliving the moment that made me a life long NBA fan.

The 76ers.
things i want to see happen. Spurs lose first round Pistons lose first round. Then whoever wins the finals out of the remaining teams is fine by me.
Here is hoping for a 76ers Celtics Eastern Conference Semi.
