Next, the returning rebound bound machine who honed his skills in GVC inter murals we all wish we had his 6'10" brother but he'll have to do Zach, the Big Minnesota Bear, Letzring

This guy was first an maurding eagle of marycrest where he became known as condor swoop, he mastered his craft as a viking, and his coming off the most decorated Flying Eagle ever Braden, the Wildman, Yauk

this next guy got side tracked with a nap on his way to becoming one of Grand View College's all time leading scorers, the one the only man who could stand Dennis Schaffer for all four years, Marcus, Jim, C-slap, Thie

He's tiny, he's quick, he once covered the dorm hallway naked in under five seconds, He's always looking for that free buffet, Jeffery, Duck, Pratter

He has no business being on a basketball team and he has been mistaken for a girl on a number of occasions, But we love him anyways Kyle, why does he even have a cell phone, Johnson.

This next guy is a man of many names, faces, and costumes, he's always wearing more gear than required Scottie, I got caught cheating on my girlfriend with kyle, Smith

We got this next guy because his goal is to foul out of every game, Albert, Yes sir that one was on me, Koundakjain.

This next guy fits right in, with his ability to drink Gatorade and vodka at flag football Mike, Sorry I don't really have a nickname for you, Mullinex

And Finally our three new comers who will have to earn thier nicknames
Jay Bowers he moon lighted for the Eagles of the first flag football team
Tim Bruno he stared on the defensive backfield for the Flying Eagles First flag football win this past summer. now he tries his hand at BBALL
and Jim Strand, one of Grand View's finest and he sures up the front line

We have particpated in three events as the flying eagles, and not once have we reached day two. We have walked away with a winning record (2-1) in basketball last year. We found a way to win on the football field this past summer. Are overall Athletic team record (0-2 2007 flag football) (2-1 2008 basketball) (1-1 2008 flag football) is 3-4. My goal is to reach a freaking day two of one of these things.

Next week I'll post on how I feel we should run things with and improved roster and rumor has it some people are in better shape.
Also a little carrot at the end of the rope, if we medal at this event we can compete in the National State games this summer in Colorado Spring in late July.
