So by now most of you have heard the story, but to recap: Kyle's dog, Aubbie, tore her ACL and needed surgery to fix the problem. Kyle thought it was going to be expensive, so Braden the eagle he is sent him $200 dollars to help with the costs.
Turns out the surgery wasn't as expensive as first thought. So Kyle felt bad about using Braden's money when he didn't need it. Kyle let's Braden know all this and Braden says send it to Scottie for future Eagle funds. Scottie gets this check in the mail and has no clue what's it for, but decided he doesn't want two hundred dollars lying around his house. Scottie send it back with me after the Hanson concert, Kyle still doesn't want this money.
So for the first time in eagle history not a single one of wanted/needed two hundred dollars that was up for grabs. So I channel the spirit of black hawk at Kyle and I's new hang out Gilligan's, I bring up the Idea of taking this two hundred dollars add what ever you can and go gambling. That's right turn this 200 hundred into a reason to hang out with each other.
The original idea was to go gambling on New Years, but the Wildman has to Barkeep on both New Years eve, and New Years Day. So now we need to put our Eagle Minds together and find a date we can get together and throw those dice.
Also let's not forgot the Ranger Rott makes an appearance in these neck of of woods around the holidays so we might need to call him and figure out when he'll be here

I would say lets do it the weekend directly following New Years (Jan 2-4). If we need to do it closer to xmas to accomodate for Rott's schedule, then I could make it Saturday, Dec 27th.
I am also proposing the 1st Annual White Eagle (Elephant) Gift Exchange. The stipulations would be for everyone to bring some sort of gift with an actual eagle on it. No more than $7 can be spent on it, and it needs to come from a discount store, relative's basement/attic, or at least have a story to accompany it. This will be a good opportunity to incorporate more Eagles artifacts into the group.
