Well its not technically just for the winter its for i dont know how long, but the Letzrings are moving north to Minnesota. In November Jamie accepted a job as the City Administrator of Sherburn, MN a small town 15 miles from the border of Iowa. A week or so went by to make sure she was taking it when i told my managers at the Des Moines Register I would be leaving. The sticky part is we are selling the house in a tough market so i told them that i was going to stay home with my son and work here until the house sold. She starts the 15th of december so she was going to go up first with us to follow later.
The Register has had a tough year and even more downsizing was to be done during December so the first week we were to let 10% of our workforce go, which is a lot. Anyway i believe that my honesty and good deeds was rewarded with being fired. So there has been a change in plans and we will all be moving to MN right away- this weekend in fact.
It is not earth shaking news to the nest but i wanted to keep all eagles up to date with the state of the big bear and his family.

I BELIEVE A FLOCK OF CAW-CAWS ARE IN ORDER. AS BAD AS THIS SOUNDS THIS IS GREAT FOR THE EAGLES BECAUSE WE CAN SPREAD OUR WINGS EVEN FURTHER THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, AS WELL AS SHARING THE IDEALS THAT COME WITH THE FESC NAME. Im sure that part of what attracted J-me to that job was the proximity of Sherburn to the Terril, IA hot-spot! (only 35 min)

Does this mean the cornhole classic moves north the border? And will you be under "resident alien" for all ia. games events? Congrats on the new digs. Haven't seen you in awhile but hope you stil got the paul bunyan look. Beardedness seems to be the M.O. in the northwoods. And thanks for the fantasy pistol whippin' on the way out!
