Those are pictures of possibly my greatest find ever while good will store hunting. I was actually looking for items to accent my 70's secret spy outfit when I came across this little number. Yes people you are looking at a mint condition Chris Mullin Warriors Jersey. One your fellow flying eagle will be donning everyday at the out door living room. My new favorite clothing item will also be making the trip to El Dora Iowa.
Some notes for the out door living room;
Steven and I will be playing out the events over the three days.
We know right now that Monday is Arrested Development Monday.
We were thinking of doing the Olympics in a two day format Monday and Tuesday.
We were also thinking on making it a six-tal-a-thon. Keeping score for who finsishs first, second, third in each event, low score wins. That person would be crowned Out door living room champ. (Your Thoughts)
As I know of right now, Braden, Kyle, Scottie, are all making appearance, there has been talks of Marcus making the trip as well.
Other than that, Steven's house is really close to the Church he attends and unfortunately a number of them just like to pop in and visit so Steven has asked that there be no beer drinking on Sunday of the event, and possibly the entire week. We problem solved a little and decided that people could hang out in the upstairs apartments if they want to partake in some over 21 beverages.
On a side note: Where the hell is everyone? No comments from big bear, Marcus, Wildmann, Kyle buddy, heck even Steven is failing as new eagle. I know I have talk to everyone over the past couple of days and I get the same response Internets down, been busy, or I forgot. This is the Flying Eagles for Goodness sake. So I'm not really surprised by the lack of traffic on the site. We tend to fly are own ways at times.
With the summer kicking into high gear will have some events coming and good times to be had. My brother is 90% in for Flying Football. Kyle and I are booking our camping site for El Dora next week, and I'll be getting in touch with everyone for the flag foot ball information.
Can't wait to have great time and accomplish basically nothing for three days. See everyone there.

As a fan of The Office, I am thinking of the episode where they have the olympics in there office. We should make medals/awards from a bunch of tinkets we can find to give out to individual events winners. 3, 2, and 1 points awarded to the respective 1st,2nd,3rd place winners in each event. then those points will determine the overall winner at the end.
can we get a list of events so far? i will be bringing the Jarts, so that should be on there. I am also thinking of bringing my old school NES and a few games.
also, what is the food situation? are we all going to make a run to the store to get meat to grill and such? i think i need a return trip to the Genghis Grill at some point!!

I didn't comment on the last post because i didn't have much to say other than the pictures were fantastic. Which in hind sight i should have just posted. Well to echo what JP said the summer is coming into full view a cloudy rainy view but yet still a view.
The Chris Mullin jersey is the shit and that you got it on the cheap is even better. Keep your eyes peeled for a Ron Siekly Golden State jersey for me.
As far as I know I will most likely be a "GO" for flag football. I am looking forward to attempting to help the eagles break into the W column in football.
Also it was just a thought, and i know we always talk about it. but 12 dollars at max 15 and we could all have new shirts. We could all send a check or money order to JP and he could get them at the place that made our flag football jerseys i would be willing to devote a little time to getting a bad ass logo and design ready and then JP wouldn't have to front the money and then be reimbursed. The only reason i am suggesting JP do it is that the place Kyle got the shirts done for last year's FF did a terrific job and we cheap.
I know i know had i paid my dues we wouldn't be having this discussion but alas no dues been paid. SO...
** I propose that all current eagles members send JP Derryberry a check for 15 dollars and the name and number you want on the back of a t-shirt. I will design them he will order them... they will be ready for flag football.

I know that there is a process to get into such a prestigous organization, but I'm willing to create a social event as my application/resume... Since you are calling yourself the flying eagles I'm inviting ya'll to earn your wings by jumping out of a plane with me.
