Well, it looks like we all got a bit side-tracked and let September slip by without the annual Eagle awards. Please make your 1-2 nominations and reasoning on the following:

Happy Anniversay and Out Door Living Room news

One Week from today, We are inviting our beloved friends to celebrate our 9 year anniversary at the Out Door Living Room Saturday Night at 5:30. Please come to see 9 years of friendship on display as Braden, Kyle, and Myself share memories, emotions, and our thoughts on the last nine years. There will be refreshments and cake served.

Following the Anniversary party we will begin the Out Door Living Room festivities. We will have the opening ceremonies, with torch lighting, and opening song. After opening ceremonies, we will commence with the first Olympic event. Remember attending the out door living doesn't mean you have to compete in the Olympic events, it's really really run.

Saturday Night Events
A giant game of the card game spoon
A Mario cart tournament on the Wii
and we cap the the evening with a single elimination Laser Tag tournament

Sunday Morning beginning at 11:00 AM
Ladder Golf
Ping Pong
J'arts
All three are tournament format and single elimination (Due to the length of the events)

Sunday evening 5:00PM
Gladiator event, time trial or longest distance
Gaga Ball, last man standing
A poker game ends the Sunday events

Monday Morning 10:00 AM
Dizzy Bat relay race in form of a time trial
Guess Who single elimination tournament best of 3 till championship then best of five
Paper football Double elimination tournament
Rock Paper Scissors Double elimination tournament

Each event will have points awarded for finishing in the top 4 spots
1st gets 4
2nd gets 3
3rd gets 2
4th gets 1
High point total after all 13 events wins, Remember there are no tie breakers, co-champs can happen

While we aren't involved in the games we will be watching the NBA playoffs, Arrested Development, Flight of the Conchords, It's always sunny, and I'm sure Fletch will be put in at some time.

Hope all can attend, I love the Out Door Living Room, come for the weekend, come for a day, come for an hour, it will be worth your time, and to the weekend couch potatoes I can't wait to spend three days in a row with you guys

May 28th in Cedar Rapids it's time for the 14th Annual 5th time done Flying Eagles out door living room. We have a door and carpet, what will we add this year?

It will run through the 31st, we are trying to top 24 guests and 17 people thinking it's a yard sale, so spread the word.

Rumors are flying around about this year events, I know they are increasing to 13, it will be decide here shortly so please submit your ideas to the committee of three Steven, kyle, and john who host this event, with the wonderful help of Mesha

On a more serious note,
This year at the Out Door Living Room, we will be celebrating a friendships of Kyle, John, and Braden. It's been nine years since they came together to form the heart and soul of 73 cents rich, 2 shots last letter, and the uncle dannies. They have been through the best of times, (el Orchard, the San Diego road trip, El Dora, and numerous other events) They leave a mark on your soul whether you wanted it or not, Through it all they have stay true to Fake it till you make it, It's aint my shit, and most importantly wait it out. So please join them on this fine occasion where they and you will celebrate the true definition of friendship.

Started with a trip to New Orleans with Hatchling of the year candidate Craig getting us a free condo in down town New Orleans

February saw us celebrates Ham's bday

Middle of May is, Braden, Kyle, and John's freiniversary. Yep it's true we are getting together to celebrate nine years of being friends, bring gifts for all three of us, and be ready to toast the greatness that is John, Kyle and Braden's friendship.

Now a quick story from New Orleans. After Erin brought us ten dollar drinks and we convinced the guitar player at the establishment we were at to play Hanson, and a little tone loc, we decided to head the karaoke place on bourbon street. Scotti and his sticky fingers his getting us free drinks and we are having a great time. We finally wrap up the night around 330 am and walk out to a pretty empty bourbon street. While Scottie, Erin and I walk down trying to fathom the greatness that bourbon street offers we come across an abandon stroller. This leads to so many questions, such as who abandons a stroller on a street, where is the baby, is it okay. What happened before the stroller was abandon, and plenty more. Just the craziness that New Orleans gave us.

14th Annual 4th time done, Out Door Living Room

The time is upon us, for the greatest weekend known to man, We have beefed up the event with some surprises being built in for this years event. We could not land a radio show this year, but I think next year if we request a little earlier we can get one. we have expanded the events to twelve and will be having two on Saturday night, and 9 on Sunday. Finishing up on Monday with the last of the events

Come anytime on Saturday to help set up. The events start at with Laser Tag at 1030.

Slip and slid, will at 3 pm on Sunday, three runs throw out lowest score high score wins, guest judge My boss

The Treasure of El Dorado

Gentleman and scoundrels, The summer is nearly upon us. I'm trying to schedule out my summer and thus the Eldora weekend. I've got my 10-year HS reunion on the weekend of July 16th. I was thinking the following... If we could move the Eldora weekend to July 23-25, it would help me out tremendously. Sounds like that is Flag football weekend though. Ca-Caww some shit out here and let me know if that will work into people's schedule?
