Sorry for no new posts for a while, I was on vacation in Ohio for thanksgiving and my mother hardly uses her cell phone. I mean i still have to put phone numbers in the thing for her. She's not what we call technology savvy; meaning a computer and internet is way out of the questions in the derryberry household. So I'll be back next week with the NBA corner as I continue to follow this year with high energy basically I follow the NBA the exact opposite way the knicks play. The whole Knick organization is not asleep at the wheel their coma at the wheel. I hate my favorite team right now.
Some news and notes
Zach called and was wondering if the Flying Eagles Athletic department could join in on the winter Iowa games basketball style. We could expand our athletic department to new heights. So anyone interested let us know. If anything it's a weekend to get together for a good time. Also please remember we are in constant training for flag football this summer.
Also got a phone call from Kylebuddy last night. Yes this means he does know how to use his phone to make calls. I think that this might be news to everyone in the club. He called to let me know that President Dean Johnson sent him a letter to put up on the blog spot. So Klye is going to get that to me in the next couple of days. We are going to have our first official presidential announcement. Be on the look out for that.
And finally Scottie and I are cooking up a road trip to Texas for the spring trying to catch a Spurs game and head down to South Padre Island. We are planning on five spots and it will be right around 700 for everything we think. This invatation is for any eagle who's got the cheese to go. Scottie and I will have more details after the new year.
And Finally
A big ups to Ryan Johnson from the Cedar Falls Chapter as well. Do to the nature of how Ryan helped out the Cedar Falls Chapter I can't not give details but he has received from the president "thanks but shh..... it's a secret badge."

KYLE JOHNSONHe is a hard nut to crack. He brings a laziness all groups of men need to have and by laziness I mean a complete and utter new way of thinking about things. I guess what I am trying to say is that to the untrained eye his behavior may appear to have a complete lack of ambition and or desire to accomplish life goals. But upon further review he will make you think twice about bumping into him at a bar and not saying "excuse me".
Secratary of State
JP Derryberry.He brings the excitement and enthusiasm to the eagles everyday. He makes most of the plans and events throughout the year. He is an eagle ambassador of such. Known for his skills with the ladies and the wiffle ball bat this multi-talented young man is a shining beacon of what all eagles and eaglets can aspire to become.
#1 Hype Man
Braden YaukHe is one of the Eagles founding fathers, he brings leadership, incite and extreme cases of gas to every meeting. To his defense, its not entireley his fault it does stem from the shrimp cotail he always brings to the potluck suppers. He is a man of few words but the words chosen are usually to ridicule Kyle in some way, shape or form. Braden is a great young man and a positive role model in the Nest.
