NOTICE: The Indianola Chapter met late into the night last night and made a few structural changes to the day's events. To make it easy for all the fellow Eagles traveling from their respective parts of the state, The Indianola Chapter has decided to charge $8 bucks for the tournament. But dont get you feathers ruffled just yet. That price will include your drinks for the night and food for the evening as well. Beer and Brats will be provided and hot dogs for those who dont do brats.

Sunday, September 2nd will mark the first-ever Eagles Cornhole Classic Tournament.
Please arrive at the Indianola Chapter headquarters by 11:00 a.m. Sunday.
Please bring the following items:
$8 – for drinks and Food
A side dish or snack of choice (chips, cookies, jell-o mold anyone?)
Lawn chair or seating device for yourself
The event is structured as a singles tournament
we will be drawing straws for one bye.
Play will begin at 12:00 noon, sharp.
Feel free to make a night of it; the Indianola Chapter can accommodate over-night guests.

Alright fellow Eagles. Please forgive my lateness on Sunday. I have some soccer committments but will arrive in good sprits not long after the hour 1pm of the day.
In other news, the song will be ready to be unveiled. I would describe it as a stomp along, sing along version of the original "hold-on". Many of the original lines will be kept in tact purely for comedic purposes. Looking forward to another adventure. I hope to become intoxicated quickly and remain that way until at least tuesday.

It is with a heavy heart and a bowl of Apple Jacks that I type to inform Eagle Nation that I will regretfully be MIA for the first ever cornhole competition. Due to the switch in dates from Saturday to Sunday, there is a conflict of schedule as a result of the 2 year anniversary of me and the lady friend (hold applause). Thusly, I will be out of town.
Here are my matters of business, hopefully you can discuss in my absence:
High Flyer - Big Bear Letz for outstanding work on the blog, shirts, communication, and networking.
Prospector - Braden "Butters" Yauk for bringing a style all his own, buttering his arm, navigation thru the waters, retention of 5/6 sacred objects
Black Hawk - i do not feel that i have enough knowledge to vote on this based upon lack of knowing Gene.
Jello Molder - Jim...no explanation need be told
Hatchling - Rossco...pending song
Eagle Vision - i have to vote both for JP and Rott...JP for all the blog work and attention to make sure the gang stays together and many events coordinated...Rott for unrivaled witticism (taken from Kyle-Buddy) in the occasional rant or every story ever uttered from his lips, treading to new lands and forming a nest
Other matters of importance:
- Contact sheet for all members (names, add, phone, email)
- Nomination of Carlos...stand up cool guy that fits in with what we strive for. (also, i think Affirmative Action requires a minority)
I shall be taking a Jell-o mold with me on my travels this weekend...so many flavors to choose from...
